It is still an extremely popular used camera. And this CONTAX TVS II is the successor to the TVS, which was released in 1997.

In the first TVS in 1993, the zoom was controlled by the zoom lever, but with the new CONTAX TVS II , the zoom ring was replaced with a zoom control. Another major improvement is the brighter viewfinder , which was considered to be dark in the original TVS. The TVS was released in the midst of the luxury compact camera boom of the 1990s, and it has a typical CONTAX titanium housing. The main feature of the CONTAX TVS is its Vario Zoner zoom lens. There are many high-end compact cameras in the world, such as the CONTAX T2 and T3, but none of them have a zoom lens.

The AE, AF and zoom functions work fine. The shutter, self-timer and flash all work well. There are some scratches on the surface of the flash, but it was not a problem for shooting.
