GORGEOUS HASSELBLAD 500C Film Camera with 80mm Planar, A12 Back, Meter Knob, IB

  

Here's a Beautiful Hasselblad 500C body with 80mm f2.8 lens Zeiss Planar lens, A12 120 Film Back, Meter Winding Knob, Lens Skylight Filter, Lens Cap, Strap and Original Instruction Book. It's in Superb Condition--- the Exterior has very little signs of use--- just an occasional tiny nick.... I used to own another Hassy about 25 years ago, and I recall they are quirky cameras---- I recently just got this one so I had to remember how to use it.

And I'm not a camera store technician, but I tried to put it through some paces with "dry" shooting. I can tell you it winds smoothly, and the shutter fires crisply at the different speeds up and down the scale. Responds to light but no guarantees on accuracy. The film back is very clean with very little wear and appears to have no issues---- and the numbers match.

The ground glass is clean and all works fine with the viewfinder--- a little dust and some tick marks on the mirror inside. Elegance in it's Bare Simplicity!

But I can't guarantee that everything is 100% accurate, as it hasn't been bench tested to factory specs or shot with film. The LENS--- the 80mm f2.8 Planar is in Superb condition as well. Clean, very little wear, and the glass is pretty much perfectly clear with sharp coatings and no damage that I can see. There are a few tiny specs of dust inside but they won't affect anything. Comes with a Skylight filter, lens cap, Strap and the Manual shown.

It will be packed well and safe in a strong box with lots of padding. I'm not here trying to rip anybody off or sneak one past you.

I'm not into having things go back and forth based on opinion, or risk "part swapping" either. I've been a photographer for 30+ years and I know how cameras work and what to look for and can recognize when something is broken. But I can't "Bench Test" every thing to factory specs and unless it's Brand New... I can't guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... Especially when it's a 40+ year old item!

Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful. But I can't describe every every millimeter of it.

As expected with age, a used vintage camera could be found with a nick or blemishes here and there or a few additional specs of dust inside that I failed to mention, particularly inside the viewfinder... But they won't affect the photos and would hardly diminish it... Unless you expect everything to be 100% Perfect.

If it's junk or even "C" Grade... I won't sell it! What you see is what you'll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
